Desk Brief, news and video timelines

Use published coverage to understand what was being reported, then use charts to investigate the market observations themselves.

Today: the published Market Update

Today opens the Research edition of the latest published Market Update. Read its chapters, play the available chapter videos and inspect the original chart evidence.

This is the existing show presented as a research reading experience. Its publication date, assessment time and chart times may differ. Opening it today does not rewrite the show using today's prices.

A useful workflow: read a chapter → inspect its original evidence → open a relevant ticker → explore what happened in the period you choose. The ticker link opens the research workspace; it does not promise to reconstruct every historical setting used in the show.

Read, watch, then investigate. The 16 September edition’s Zcash chapter sits beside its recorded evidence. Watch from 1:50 opens that part of the show; Open ZEC-USD workspace moves into Research. View full size.

News and video timelines

Within a ticker workspace, the video timeline places matching shorts and show chapters by publication time. Use its range and format controls to narrow the coverage. A chapter's watch link uses its stored start time in the video.

Topics & news shows linked stories alongside topic attention for the selected context. Use Follow chart to connect it to the inspected candle, or pin the context while exploring somewhere else.

A topic bubble measures mentions, while the story list counts source-linked articles available in that sample. They are different measures. A video can also be published after the market period it discusses.

Open the latest Coin Daily Market Update and show its chapters.

Show Bitcoin-related video chapters published during the last seven days.

Show the news context around the date of this move, and distinguish publication time from the chart period.

The Market Update, video and news widgets keep each type of coverage focused. A story's proximity to a price move is context to investigate, not proof that the story caused the move.
