Controls

  • Measure — Bid and ask depth, Quoted spread, or Depth balance for candle-aligned data.
  • Bid and ask depth: USD displayed on each side.
  • Quoted spread: the gap between best bid and ask in basis points.
  • Depth balance: the relative balance of displayed bids and asks as a percentage.
  • Legend follows the selected measure; the scope line reads Coinbase Advanced spot · retained book depth.
  • Shared controls: Expand when the host supports fullscreen, Get a fresh read, Open in Research ↗.

Units, selection and limits

  • Book readings are source-time snapshots, not traded volume and not candle totals.
  • The API qualifies each candle's final book. An unusable final snapshot is not replaced with an older reading; it stays a gap for that candle.
  • Displayed depth is a sample of quoted interest, not guaranteed execution liquidity; orders can change or be cancelled.
